I tried some similar recycle-cartridges
before. But the printout quality is very poor. |

Problems include words printed out with shadow, carbon leakage
from the toner, colours are not in balance where some part of
the colour is darker and some lighter. I have lost confidence
in recycle-cartridges. How can I be certain AFEX products will
not have the same problems?
Poor printout effects are always caused by a damaged cartridge.
If a used cartridge is not repaired - or the damaged parts
are not replaced - before being sent for remanufacturing,
the defect will remain in the cartridge and affect the printout
quality. Also, a misused the printer or fax engine will also
damage the cartridge.
To solve these two problems, AFEX, firstly, has set up a
team to examine every used cartridge to detect and repair
any damaged parts. If we find the damage parts, we will replace
the old one and installed the parts. For example, new OPC
Drum, Wiper Blade, Mag Roller Sleeve and Primary Corona. This
process ensures the recycled cartridge's high quality. Secondly,

Will I get the same number of printed page
from a recycled toner cartridges as a new cartridge? |

The amount of the printouts is related not only to the cartridge
but also the quality of the printer and toner.
As we have said before, every AFEX's recycle-cartridge has
been examined all parts in great details. All of our products
meet the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)
standard. Moreover, our toners are all imported from the UK
and Germany with high quality. They are carefully selected
and are good for remanufacturing. We guarantee every of our
cartridge is good and may print out as much pages as OEM product. |

Will compatible toner cartridges void my
warranty? |

No. The US government (FTC, Federal Trade Commission) says
that its against the law for companies to force customers to
buy their products exclusively.
This will allows manufacturers to sell compatible toner cartridges
to consumers because certain antitrust acts protect consumer
rights to purchase from any supplier without fear of losing
your warranty. |

How do I know if my laser printer uses a
cartridge that can be recycled? |

80% of the laser printers on the market today use a Canon-based
engine. Canon holds the patent on the engine and print technology.
They manufacture the engine and cartridge, and sell them to
other companies. They are all the same engines and all the same
cartridges so they can all be recycled. |
